From the towering Andes Mountain peaks to the tropical canopies of the Amazon Rainforest—there is plenty of music to be found in the landscapes of Peru.

This Saturday on Second Inversion, we’re exploring the sounds, spirit, and folklore of this special place—through the music of Gabriela Lena Frank. We’ll hear the composer tracing the threads of her Peruvian heritage, from the rhythm of the charango to the rich colors of Peruvian textiles. Plus, music inspired by the legends of the Inca Empire.

To listen, tune in to Classical KING on Saturday, April 6 at 9pm PT.
