Love songs are great—but what about all the other nonromantic loves in our lives? Don’t they deserve a little music too?

This Saturday on Second Inversion, we’re spreading the love with music by women composers. We’ll hear from women who are inspired by the many different kinds of love: from family love to deep friendships, community—and the love we share for the music itself.

One composer reminisces on the songs her grandmother used to sing to her. Another reflects on the unbreakable bond between siblings. Plus, one composer’s love letter to the music of Chopin.
