Los Angeles Guitar Quartet & Seattle Classic Guitar Society

The Grammy-winning Los Angeles Guitar Quartet brings a vibrant program spanning Bach to Brazil, presented by the Seattle Classic Guitar Society. 

 

Puget Sound Concert Opera: Medea

Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, Bellevue 

Puget Sound Concert Opera presents Cherubini’s Medea, a gripping tale of betrayal and vengeance. Soprano Karen Early Evans stars in the title role, with Tim Janecke as Jason and Serena Eduljee as Glauce. Conducted by John Burkhardt, this powerful drama unfolds in an intimate setting.

Osvaldo Golijov’s Ainadamar 

This week’s Met Opera broadcast features Golijov’s Ainadamar, a poignant tribute to poet Federico García Lorca. Through the memories of his muse, Margarita Xirgu, the opera explores Lorca’s life, legacy, and tragic death during the Spanish Civil War. Featuring sopranos Angel Blue and Gabriella Reyes, and conducted by Miguel Harth-Bedoya.
