Sings like a bird and cuts like a blade—the wind is an elusive subject. Its beauty and sheer power have captured the minds, pens, and palettes of artists across history. And that trend continues today.

This Saturday on Second Inversion: Whirlwind! We’ll hear composers following where the wind blows them. From storms and cyclones to the biting winds of the Far North, we’ll hear composers grappling with the many ways in which the wind shapes and shifts our lives. Plus: a weather report that reads like poetry.

To listen, tune in to Classical KING on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 9pm PT.
