Volunteer at Classical KING
There is a lot that goes into keeping a radio station running, and a large and wonderful source of support are our amazing volunteers. As you can image, with so many moving parts, sometimes we need some extra hands, especially as the weather warms up and our team plans to be out in the community at events throughout the Sound this summer.
Our volunteers help us make the magic happen in so many ways – from welcoming guests at live events to handling the behind-the-scenes clerical and administrative work that keeps the music playing. Whether you have a few hours or a skill to share, you can help your favorite commercial-free classical music station.
In addition to helping Classical KING by volunteering, you’re also helping yourself – studies have shown that donating your time not only helps your physical and mental well-being, but also helps you build connections with other like-minded people and organizations. In some cases, your employer can even match your time volunteered with a donation. Please check with your company to see if this is applicable and feel even better knowing that your time and effort go even farther.
