Seattle Center Classical | a Classical KING music festival

Festival Stage: All performances will take place on The Concert Truck stage that is made possible by Seattle Chamber Music Society.

Community Group Sing: The festival will conclude with a shared community singing experience led by conductors from the Greater Seattle Choral Consortium. Singers will be positioned throughout the audience, inviting attendees to participate in a musical moment that reflects the spirit of the festival: Classical Music for Everyone.

Seattle is home to one of the country’s most vibrant classical music communities, with internationally recognized organizations, artists, and audiences across the Pacific Northwest. Yet there has never been a large-scale public festival bringing these organizations together in one shared civic experience.

Seattle Center Classical was created to help answer that opportunity.

Produced by Classical KING and Seattle Center, the festival is a new free outdoor celebration of classical music at the International Fountain, bringing together some of Seattle’s leading classical music organizations for the first time in one shared festival experience.

Centered around the Concert Truck stage that is made possible by Seattle Chamber Music Society, Seattle Center Classical invites audiences to experience live music in an open and welcoming public setting in the cultural heart of Seattle. Designed for audiences of all generations and experience levels, the festival encourages longtime classical music audiences, families, and new listeners alike to gather outdoors for a relaxed summer afternoon of music against the backdrop of the iconic International Fountain and Space Needle.
