We’re so excited to celebrate the 2025 Lunar New Year with you!

First, a big thank you to Mimi Chan, Vice President of the Seattle Chinese Garden, and her daughters, Wailana and Aolani. They helped our announcers with Chinese name pronunciations for this special day, and we’re so grateful for their kindness and expertise. Thank you to Jen Lee who helped us with all of the Korean pronunciations. You’ve truly made this celebration shine brighter!

Lunar New Year is such a joyful time, filled with colorful parades, fireworks, amazing food, and of course, music. In ancient China, music was thought to harmonize the universe, bringing balance and good fortune. At Classical KING, we’re thrilled to honor this tradition by sharing beautiful music that celebrates the spirit of the Lunar New Year.

Mark your calendars! On Wednesday, January 29, we’ll be featuring music from China, Korea, and other parts of Asia throughout the day. It’s a wonderful way to welcome the Year of the Snake and celebrate the rich cultural traditions of Lunar New Year.
