Celebrate the First Notes of the Season with Classical KING + Live Music Project
September 18, 2025
September marks the start of the classical music season — a moment filled with anticipation as choirs, orchestras, chamber ensembles, opera companies, and bands across the Northwest prepare to raise the curtain on a new year of performances.
This fall, Classical KING is partnering with Live Music Project to launch a new community-wide campaign: Celebrate the First Notes of the Season. Together, we’re shining a spotlight on the fall concerts that bring our region’s music to life — and making it easier than ever for audiences to discover live performances in their own neighborhoods.
How It Works
-
For Music Organizations: We’re encouraging choirs, orchestras, opera companies, and other performing groups to submit their fall and winter concerts to the Live Music Project calendar by September 13. This shared calendar is a free, powerful tool that helps connect your events to new audiences across the Northwest.
-
For Audiences: From September 15–30, Classical KING will feature Live Music Project on-air, in newsletters, on social media, and on our website. Listeners will be invited to explore the calendar, search by city or zip code, and find concerts close to home.
Why It Matters
Classical music thrives when audiences and organizations are connected. By coming together for the start of the season, we’re creating a true raising-all-ships moment — amplifying the entire ecosystem of live performance. Whether it’s your local choir, a neighborhood chamber ensemble, or one of the region’s great orchestras, every first note this season contributes to the cultural heartbeat of our community.
